How The Training Works

Group size: up to 15 participants per module

Small, focused cohorts ensure hands-on, practical learning experiences for every participant.

Minimum: 6 participants per course / per group

Courses are confirmed once minimum numbers are reached. Register early to secure your place.

Concurrent delivery

Train new starters and existing staff at the same time — minimising disruption to your operations.

On farm, practical focus

Training reflects real agricultural work — content is built for the environment your people actually work in.

Why This Matters

The Training Challenge

  • Limited time to organise and manage training
  • Lost productivity when staff travel off farm
  • Cost and uncertainty around training value
  • Training that doesn’t reflect real agricultural work

The Industry Challenge

  • Workforce shortages and high staff turnover
  • Increased scrutiny around safety and duty of care
  • Growing compliance and regulatory complexity
  • Closure of regional agricultural training facilities

The Bridging the Gap Farm Essentials Training program is a joint initiative by AgForce Training and the Queensland Government to support the state’s farmers.
